and I’m outa here….

Well for a long weekend at least. Jean is on her way done from WI and I am going to pack the truck, the BIG truck. We have 30 quilt that need to get there too. MaryAnn, we will be there this afternoon, then Charlotte here we COME. A Quilting retreat with 80+ people that I don’t know.

The roads are wet from here to there, and I am a little worried about what the property in MO looks like lately, there are reports of flooding in MO again. But one thing at at time – to NC for some friendship, shopping, sewing and maybe even a little relaxation.

Here is what the property looked like last year this time.IMG_1797
Soooooo much better than the snow from the last post a few weeks ago.

1st day of Spring 2010

So this is what we woke up to yesterday... 30 degrees and 2 inches of snow on the grass.

No snow today, it had to be at least 50. We are going to be sick if this keeps up. But with Tim here we did get 2 1/2 pallets of firewood stashed away for next winter. Now I am sitting by a fire in the wood stove using some of last years stash.
